The Guadaulupe is a 9 passenger western mail coach that was built by the Frizzell Coach and Wheel Wks. of Oklahoma City. OK. The Frizzells were the premier coach manufacturers of the 20 th Century.
The stage coach was ordered by Dean Krakel in 1964 as a show piece for the opening of the National Cowboy Hall of Fame on 26 June 1965 It's luxurious trim stood as a stark contrast to the life of the cowboy, but was of the same period in the west.
